3-Way Meet at Leaman Place. Who doesn't love a 3-way?.....train meet, that is. :) With a little careful planning on the part of Charter Lead Pete Lerro, and some stellar weather, we were able to capture a 3-way meet at Leaman Place Junction, between the last two operable N&W Steam Locomotives, the J-Class #611 and the M-Class #475, and a modern Amtrak passenger train, flying down the main line at track speed with a Siemens ACS-64 on the point. One can only imagine what the passengers on this high-speed train must have been thinking as they flashed past the two classic steamers. This scene was one of many staged in October of 2019, at the "Reunion of Steam" event on Pennsylvania's Strasburg Rail Road.
