A venerable AEM-7 leads one of SEPTA's evening push/pull commuter sets into Strafford Station. The 1885 station, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, sits roughly 15 miles from center city Philadelphia and is located on Amtrak's Keystone route, former PRR - also known as SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale line. Interestingly, the station served Wayne, Pennsylvania, one station stop just east, for 2 years before being moved to this location. The station was restored and upgraded between 1999 and 2002.
