“On the Advertised” At 12:27, Amtrak 109 Metroliner, with AMTK AEM7 948 on point, is adhering to schedule, southbound on Track 3, just south of FREDERICK ROAD (mp 99.9), on the Northeast Corridor, November 21, 1990.
The track in the foreground is the Loudon Park Pickup Track. The north leg of the former wye leading to the PRR Claremont Branch is just behind the photographer. The Claremont Branch once served the stockyards and meat packing industries in the southwest corner of Baltimore City.
