The shoreline is illuminated in a crimson glow by the setting sun as SC 1102 brings up the rear of an Iowa Pacific passenger train making its final journey from Santa Cruz to Watsonville.
SC 1102 has the lead crossing the Pajaro River Bridge on the way to customers in Watsonville. A father and his three young sons joined me to watch the train go by on this beautiful evening.
