A very ordinary occurence in 1994, another coal train heading south with bituminous for electricity.
With a leased ATSF unit this southbound train is just out of the big yard in Corbin and accelerating on its southbound trip.
Northbound empties wait for permission to go on into Corbin Yard. Yeah, Yeah I kinow it's CSX but nobody got around to lettering these so I'll go with my preference.

Northbound CSX manifest R548 was passing a southbound unit coal train south of Woodbine, KY on May 11, 1992.
This train with one SOU unit was a regular in those days. Today it's nearing the end of double track at Faber.

A CSX ballast sweeper works the No.1 KD main south of Corbin near Woodbine. The MOW crews had the entire subdivision tied up all afternoon.
A northbound OUCX hopper train holds up south of Corbin in the early morning fog until the yardmaster can clear a track for him. Coal business is good these days!
