The NYSW throttles up through Hawthorne as it begins a long upgrade climb. Fourth out is the railroad's heritage unit, bound for Sparta, NJ to serve as the local switcher.
After running around there train, NYSW WS-4 head east past the historic Hawthorne station building. Leading the train is the railroad's SD40-2 3024, wearing a recently applied heritage scheme.
