The real story here is this was a former Boston and Maine engine showing two generations of lettering before it got the Gilford orange and black paint. Is the blue paint from the B and M days? Is Canadian Pacific doing so badly that it has to buy worn out Gilford engines. There is quite a story there under the CP stencles.
