While company ballast is not a revenue aggregate shipment, this one bears mention. The ballast is being carried in a self-unloading "Dump Train", aka conveyor train, invented by the Georgetown Railroad in Texas. Halfway back in the train is the boom car which unloads the commodity to the side of the train, or in front of the train (when uncoupled from the rear section).
