Wow! Mark - I have to say, this photo confused me at first, because you mention that the locomotive crew is using this track to run around their train. I finally had to go to Google Maps and take a look to see how that could be accomplished seeing as how you literally mean they are "...using all the real estate available to make their runaround move...!" I saw that what is NOT seen in this photo is the switch to a second track directly behind the rear axle, and probably barely clear from under the rear wheel set, that would allow for such a move. That is an interesting set-up they have, and you're right, they don't have much room for error. Impressive, and I like the aesthetics of this photo. Very pleasant to look at, and kind of provides a bit of peacefulness. Amazing.

At this point where theres hardly any rails, its a sick AWD vehicle.
