A "Trains" magazine article from the early 1980's featured this line when it was called the Wisconsin and Calumet (WICT). Motive power was at least one GP-7 set up to run long hood forward, IIRC. What a difference a few years can make, from hauling coal from river barges to the UW campus in Madison and other freight to an abandoned path, basically. During my stint in Okinawa, courtesy of the Air Force, I worked briefly with another sergeant whose hometown was located along this line (Mazomanie, I think it was).
