Attractive classics there in the lead. So, what would be the scientific explanation for why F-unit styling still looks good after more than half a century?

The designers that worked for EMD back then were the best. They created classic designs for the E and F units, that were beautiful then and now. Thanks for posting a great shot, and best regards.
