Am looking at Neuvy Pailloux on Google Maps satellite view & with the way the goods shed, level crossing, and station, are, their arrangement could make a nice scene on a shelf-style model railway no matter which side of the tracks the scene would be viewed from, with the trains running in front of or behind the station relative to the viewer.

The spare is in the rear of the truck. Against the back end of the cab. Similar to the US HEMMT M977 or M923A2 ( I own one of those). Always fun moving those spares on and off the truck.
