Posted by D.Carleton on September 19, 2020  The LMS Dash 8's were jointly owned by CR and IC, the idea being that divergent seasonal power needs would allow the locomotives would go where they were needed on either road. Upon the dissolving of LMS in 1999 they were split between CR and IC.
