"Historic" in a negative way, the "tin shed" at Calverton is one of the last remaining ones, which were once all too common on Long Islands's "East-End lines." Usually these sheds replaced small Victorian wood-frame stations, but have themselves been replaced by small modern stations with floor-level platforms.
