This FA would eventually be LIRR Power pack number 618. The long Island bought 19 second hand ALCo FAs intended to be re-engineered as cab cars for push pull commuter service operation. 617 and 618 were the only former New Haven FAs the Railroad purchased. The best spotting feature to tell that they were New Havens's were the different design number-boards as displayed in this picture.
