Quite often we see abandoned rail line bridges over active waterways, I know of at least 4 in Arkansas. However, in KC we see active rail lines over "abandoned" waterways. Or at least what I've read is that commercial barges no longer go as far as KC on the Missouri. Guess it was too hard to control?
