Way over to the right there appears to be some old P72 passenger coaches in storage. Great photo.

MURFUNIT - There are four 2900 coaches down in the "boneyard" in Morris Park. I believed they are owned by the Twin Forks or Friends of 35 museums and stored on LIRR property. Rumor has it, all of the derelict equipment in the bone yard will be either scrapped (if deemed unmovable) or transported to Riverhead to be put on display. Reason for the commotion is that the LIRR is planning on building new shops in Morris Park, eliminating the turntable and replacing it with a wye track which will take up much more space than is needed for just the turntable.
