Nice view of these locos, I seem to think these have been at this location for close to 10 years now, one would have thought they would have been sold for scrap by now.

I have always found it amazing how much railroad equipment is abandoned like this, and even the rails themselves.

The PLA will have room in Brightside Yard for at least three of these units once the GGRM moves! They should acquire at least one of the Cadillacs, the GP9, and the F-Units (the A and B unit). It's sad to see historic locomotives like these in this state.

Expect to see these locomotives, along with the North Coast/NWP locomotives in Eureka and the locomotives in Chemurgic to move to Stockton in the next couple of years.

Local news reported that 4 of the 5 locos in Eureka (GP7s or 9s) are being scrapped. The last one, owned by the railroad itself, *might* be moved to Samoa where the THA now owns some property for a future museum.
