That is a really great looking locomotive. I'm curious as to when the Australian railways (wisely)converted to knuckle couplers.

New South Wales Government Railways roughly 1940's other state I'm not to sure on, the locomotive here was built by Baldwin Locomotives works in America, originally as a oil burning but converted in early 1960's to coal due to the price of oil at time.
