I don't think you could find anything finer than this! Is this railroad bridge the highest in United States still in use if measured to water level? Pit River and Feather River (W) in California and Pecos High Bridge in Texas have visible height reduced by reservoirs. Stony Creek Bridge in Rogers Pass, British Columbia is an incredible piece of engineering and the tallest railway bridge in North America. When it was built in 1885 it was the tallest in the world. The bridge is part of the CPR's double track mainline through the Canadian Selkirk Mountain Range.
