It's a parade!

Have to hope this one doesn't get dropped at the docks
From the looks of the colors, it looks like it escaped from the "Today" show!
I'm guessing the different couplers are the only reason it's not being moved on its own wheels.
If they dropped this one during unloading, you would never notice - it's so ugly.

As someone in the UK, this hideous looking "design" (a collection of individual CAD parts made to fit to each other, might be a better description...) of a locomotive, not helped by an even worse paint scheme, I can only assume that who ever signed off this corporate livery in the UK suffered the same affliction as Mr W.Stroudley (CME of the old LB&SCR here in the UK) who was colour blind - reference his improved engine green!
I am sure that the locomotive that was dropped whilst being unloaded at the docks was a class 66 not a class 70. !
Could the builders not afford any covering material for protection during transportation?
Let us hope for the sake of all taste and sensitivity they are all dropped on the dock. Better yet, off the dock. In the immortal words of Dr. Phil, "What in the hell were you thinking?".
David, the loco dropped on delivery was 70012. It stayed at the docks until arrangements were made to ship it back to the USA for component recovery.

70012 went straight back on the boat that brought it to the UK. It holds the record for the least time spent on UK soil (concrete). This batch of 70's (known in the UK as Fugleys, because they are Fu****g Ugly!) are being transported in the hold of a Ro-Ro vessel, hence there is no need for a protective "condom".

The front end of these things reminds me of one of those old fashioned TV sets from the 60's.

Infact, I think the item on the well car behind it is more aesthetically pleasing.

In one of my dreams there was an ugly locomotive. Then I opened my eyes and realized I wan't dreaming: I saw the class 70. The green Freightliners class 70 look bad, this one looks even worse...
