I can't wait to see what it's like when it's restored. It's great to see that a Rio Grande hood unit is getting saved.

They should have worked out a trade with RailServe which bought the two Hartwell ex-Grande GP30's for genset fodder, those were in running condition and this would have worked just as well for genset fodder. Do hope they get this one restored eventually though.

I suppose people do need to be told it is an "Oversize Load". If this was here in the U.K. the guy on the roof would need a hard hat, high viz. jacket and all sorts of thing probably including "A Working at Height" Certificate.
