Nice pictures John. I think the King looks superb in the blue livery, although doubtless the GW diehards are reaching for their blood pressure tablets! This shot could easily have been taken in early post-nationalisation days with the King in charge of a train of mixed stock. I look forward to seeing 6023 in the flesh.
