Are these coming out of storage? I've only seen the heritage unit painted like this, otherwise seems the rest of the P40/42 class are in the blue nose scheme

That would be my guess. Hopefully they're getting sent to Beech Grove. Maybe if we're lucky, they'll get some sort of special paint, but most likely will get the standard shamu paint.

All of the stored P40s were up in Bear, DE. So the only logical reason for them to be sent down to Washington would be to head West to Beech Grove. Anyone know more or what the other two #s are beside the 828?
