Do these have anything in common with the NYC Niagaras?

Other than the same wheel arrangement they are different locos than the NYC Niagaras. I believe they are lighter and have lower boiler pressure.

From every picture I have seen and most of the general specs they are almost identical to Grand Trunk Western's U3B class Northers two of which ex GTW now Ohio Central 6325 and 6323 are restored. 6323 is on static display and 6325 is stored servicable with bad bearings in Jerry Jacobsens new roundhouse.
