Wow! The good ol days! I remember when these were arriving on the property just weeks prior to this photo. Napa Pipe in Napa and General Mills in Vellejo were still booming, and the trash transload facility in Lombard had yet to come on line. All are gone now. I was photographing NWP Sprint trains with SP SD-9s and GP-9s less than a year prior to this photo. If memory serves me correctly, the first day of CFNR operations was September 3 1993. How times have changed!
