This is a beautiful classic Virginian electric shot. I believe the coal mining devastation in the background was reclaimed in the late seventies.

It's always a treat to see color views of the Virginian's electrics. Thanks so much for sharing. I believe, however, that the photo location is actually the town of Covel, about ten miles southeast of Mullens on the climb to Clarks Gap.

This is not Mullens, it is Garwood or Covel or Giatto. Nice shot, you dont see much VGN around here.
