that's a fantastic shot ! , i've been meaning to get a photo of that bridge, it's pretty hard though with only four trains a day.

Thanks Eric. Had I not paid attention to where the view lines were while riding the train south about a week prior, I would still be trying to shoot this from down below or further down river. Standing in the snow just below where Wharf Road curves up the hill had never dawned on me. I had shot from the bridge on the far side over 10 years ago, but the lighting was never right.

Great job! I've walked around the south shore of the river wondering how to make a shot of the bridge(s), never thought of the north shore by the power house where you were for this. That is a very tight place to get a picture, two road bridges, two dams and a railway bridge all crammed in there, glad to see it in the database. There is a picture around (BB Swiss Chalet) from a hundred years ago with a similar view.

Thanks Mark. Yes, it is a tight place to shoot and it's only going to get tighter what with the tree-hugger lunatics planting saplings all over the place! Oh yeah, and now that you mention it, I do believe I've seen that old shot at the Swiss Chalet also.
