Very interesting. In one of the other photos of this locomotive, it was stated that it was broad gauge. It appears that those coaches are narrow gauge. What a combination, if this is so!

Standard guage and narrow guage equipment could be mixed together because it was dual guage (at least a standard guage engine could pull narrow guage cars).
