Great catch, considering there was no passenger service, per se, on the Tumbler Ridge. The line was ruled by a fleet of General Motors GF6C electric locomotives, hauling coal to interchange with CN, thence to Ridley Island. BCOL 12, nee PGE 12, born in 1956, sn 6321, ended up in Moncton, at Industrial Rail Services, captured in pathetic condition by another RailPictures photographer: http://www.videorails.com/viewphoto.php?id=152459&nocomments=true Coal shipments to Japan were hinky and Tumbler Ridge passed into history. Only one GF6C survived, and is on display in Prince George.
