Thank You Jeff, Outstanding !!!
Right place, right time, right subject - superb!
And to think folks find those diesel drift-bustin' shots dramatic. HA! Awesome capture, bud!
Next 1225 winter charter, we're definitely going to have to build a drift for her to bust through. So, how covered did you get?
A snow drift, and a snow bunker to hide behind with peepholes for all the cameras!
Proof positive that standing around in five degree weather is worth it for a shot like this.
Now that's a snow-plowing photo!! Exceptional image.
Very very powerfull picture!
I agree with Mitch Goldman, absolute!
Now there's a photo that transcends time. What a great shot!!
I saw this when it first posted this AM and I keep coming back to it. Calendar material for sure! Very nice indeed.
Excellent perspective of the Berkshire bust'in through the snow. Nice plume, blue sky....this is a scene that doesn't happen very often. Thanks for sharing this gem.
I know some photographers in Iowa that would like to see 1225 come out next winter for some drift busting.

Looks like Pere Marquette is using old or retired ex-VIA Rail Canada equipment, but nice and awesome shot there.
