What I find very curious here, is that numerals in the 320's numberboards are the same style that Illinois Central adopted as part of their final independant paint scheme. And this picture, taken in 1994, is years before the Missabe and IC had any corporate connection, as they do today via Canadian National's acquisition of both roads.
