Very nice shot !

This is really a great composition. It puts railroading in the context of real life. Nice job!

I'm completely speechless, Ryan! The tree, the silhouetted Dash-8, and the barn/farm equipment are all perfectly placed, but the horse under the bridge is the much needed icing on the cake. Not only perfect timing and placement but in a perfect pose. Only thing that could make this better would be an NS engine but now I'm just nit-picking. Excellent, excellent shot! Wish I could give you all four PC votes.

I will pickup where Andrew left off. Yes this is a nice shot. I like when people think outside the lines of normal light and doing something different. PCA vote here because this shot has has alot of things to look at. The shadows, barn, horse, and of coarse the train. It is a neat shot!

Great composition! What is so great about this shot is how different it is from others. That and the horse in full gallop.
|
That shadow of the big tree stretching to the foreground is incredible...as is this shot!
|
Great shot Ryan. PCA vote from me on this one. I was thinking the same thing Andrew was that it would have been great if it had been an NS unit with the horse running under it. Great shot none the less!

Impressive photography Ryan.

Impressive is definitely the word for it, Ryan. You always do such a great job of capturing the essence of the Adams Line like nobody else that I've seen. PCA vote from me for sure.
|
Epic work here, Ryan. Simply wonderful! The tree shadow cast across the photograph just cements the whole thing. Stellar work!

Your picture belongs to the best black&whites in the RPN database - and I am a fan of B&W. I have been shooting B&W for years, long before the digital era. Congratulations!
