A pair of BNSF Geeps – GP60 161 (previously BNSF 8702, originally ATSF 4002) and GP60M 126 (formerly ATSF 126) – are getting prepped for use on the railway's Third La Mirada local, as a crewman is stocking water in the cabs, checking fuel levels, verifying that the brakes work all right and opening the knuckle on 161's front coupler. La Mirada Yard, in southeastern Los Angeles County, is home to several sets of GP60/GP60M diesels. (La Mirada, California – August 4, 2024)
