A deadhead move of CSX's OCS trainset, recently painted into a B&O inspired scheme, makes its way west through Erie, Pennsylvania on a Wednesday morning. With three F40's on the point, the train is beginning to overtake the last cars on NS intermodal train 205 on the section of parallel trackage through downtown.
CSX has diverse passenger operations that include office car specials, trips to major events like the Kentucky Derby, track geometry trains and the annual Santa Claus train over the northern section of the fallen flag Clinchfield Railroad.
