Last year, locomotive Ge 4/4 III # 644 "Savognin" received an advertising decal for the RhB's planned world record attempt for the world's longest passenger train, with the address "Weltrekord-Versuch" ("World record attempt"). After the 1910 meter long train, consisting of 25 "Capricorn" multiple units ABe 4/16, successfully ran from Preda to Alvaneu on October 29, 2022, thus setting the world record, the address on locomotive # 644 was changed to "Weltrekord-Fahrt" ("World record run"). The locomotive pushes the Inter Regio 1136 from St.Moritz over the Albula line to Chur between Filisur and Alvaneu and has just crossed the 65 meter high Landwasser Viaduct. In the rearmost car of the ALVRA push-pull train you can see the special photo compartment. Here, the side windows can be opened by means of an electric motor to take photos of the beautiful landscape without disturbing reflections.
