It's a quiet night at the Pittsburgh & Ohio Central Railroad's yard in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. OHCR 1711, painted for the P&OC, sits next to the sanding tower, illuminated by the lights at the yard office. This is one of the locomotives that was identified to be scrapped as part of the G&W settlement with the EPA.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
