Re-Reconfiguring, Part Two.
New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R160B no. 9137 (Kawasaki, 2005-2010) is the lead motor on a Coney Island-bound F train seen approaching Ditmas Ave Station on the IND Culver Line.
As I mentioned in the caption of another recent photo, the interlocking is currently being reconfigured as part of the Culver CBTC project, and the 5 switches merging the four tracks into three there will soon be only one: where the two express tracks merge into one. This work is pressing on, and both local tracks B1 and B2 have now been "hard railed" and their switches removed. This weekend the switches on the express tracks will likely be removed - at least partially - with their replacement track installed.
