The not self propelled steam rotary snow blower Xrot # 100 of SBB Historic, built by Henschel/Kassel/Germany in 1896 for the Gotthard railway, is standing on the turntable of the Bahnpark Brugg AG, turning the 3 meter diameter blowing wheel. The 800 HP steam engine was able to throw the snow up to 90 meter wide. The machine was discarded in Erstfeld in 1965 and underwent an overhaul before it was handed over to the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne (VHS). The "Rotary" was then stored in the last years in the depot Arth Goldau and was transferred on 17 January 2021, exactly 125 years after it was delivered to the Gotthard Railway, to Brugg AG. Within a few weeks it was put back into operation by the Damfgruppe Zürich and was shown to the public for the first time at the Bahnparkfest 2022.
