A Norfolk Southern transfer, heading along the Fort Wayne Line to nearby Conway Yard, rolls through suburban Pittsburgh behind NS 5900, one of the railroad’s two GP22ECO slug masters. Created from NS GP38AC 4105 (originally NW 4105) and teamed with GPTEB 600 (a Tractive Effort Booster, or slug, constructed from NS GP38 2888/CR 7693/PC 7693), these two were working with SD40E 6351 (ex-NS SD50 6538, née-CR SD50 6770).
