A Wisconsin & Calumet three-car freight trundles down a snow-covered former Illinois Central Gulf branch line running between Madison, Wisconsin, and Freeport, Illinois, on February 17, 1985. A former Milwaukee Road GP9 serves as snowplow and power for the southbound train passing the De Spain Lumber/Supply elevator at Scioto Mills, Illinois. The little-used line was eventually torn up in late 1999 and turned into a bike path. Believe it or not, the three cars contain Huber Beer and Swiss Colony Cheese from Monroe, Wisconsin!
