Wildfire smoke has returned to the Puget Sound, at the cost of other's misery, we get an interesting sunset. Just in time is this UP oil train from Canada, complete with Heritage unit CP 7012. The train has finally received permission to proceed up to CP Bridge 14, where it will need to be "talked by" a red signal, as the bridge is having some issues with a derail. But before it can cross Bridge 14, it has to cross it's lesser known cousin Bridge 15.9, located just south of the ferry dock.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
