Thanks to a collaborative effort between New Hope and Ivyland Railroad and SEPTA, 40 runs under the wires along the mainline of the Lansdale Regional Rail line, passing modern equipment from SEPTA along the way. This was one of a series of runs to North Wales in celebration of the towns 150th anniversary
The Night Before, 40 Rests mere yards away from her first venture on a main line in decades. Surprisingly not many people ventured to see her while resting just above Warminster Station, which led to some great opportunities to admire the locomotive as well as conduct some night time photography.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
