Toronto Transit Commission Canadian Light Rail Vehicle 4085 heads west on the TTC's 506 Carlton line, at the corner of Gerrard and Blackburn, trundling down Gerrard Avenue. These Canadian Light Rail Vehicles were constructed by Bombardier-predecessor Urban Transportation Development Corporation (UTDC) from 1978 through 1981. After nearly 40 years of service (beginning on September 30, 1979), the CLRVs will be retired soon – probably by the end of 2019. The iconic CLRV is seen passing an equally, if not more, iconic Tim Hortons! (August 30, 2019)
