Sometimes, when the Rhaetian Railway is short in power, the vintage Ge 4/4 I locomotives with 1184 kW are used to pull short passenger trains (usually they are in the freight service for the Albula tunnel II only). This day, the Ge 4/4 I # "Badus", which was built in 1947 by SLM, MFO and BBC and is in service for 71 years now (in a few days), is pulling the prestigious GLACIER EXPRESS GEX # 905, running from St.Moritz to Zermatt, on the section between Chur and Disentis. The train is running along the Vorderrhein through the impressive Ruinaulta gorge between Versam-Safien and Valendas-Sagogn.
