The 292-mile Ann Arbor Railroad was a subsidiary of the Detroit Toledo & Ironton RR from 1963 to 1970. Locomotive maintenance and repairs for both railroads was done at DT&I’s engine and shop facilities in Flat Rock, Michigan.
