Two U.S. Army Alco MRS1 road switchers lead a train off of the Aberdeen & Rockfish and onto the tracks of the Cape Fear Railway, based in Fort Bragg. Today’s consist is entirely made up of aviation fuel for the adjacent Pope Air Force Base. Today, this connection is gone, and the Cape Fear interchanges with CSX on its former ACL main.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
