Amtrak's "Crusader" which began its trek from Communipaw Terminal in Jersey City, NJ makes an on time arrival at Philadelphia's 30th Street Station, in Pennsylvania. Restoration of the former Reading /CNJ corridor to the ferry docks just east of NYC eased congestion acting as a second NEC of sorts and proved to be quite popular with passengers - especially those living to the north of Amtrak's parallel NEC, former PRR.
OK... in an alternate reality, perhaps. In actuality, Amtrak's ACS-46 #610 along with several MARC cars were on lease to SEPTA providing some relief to the commuter line's woes due service issues discovered with its new Silverliner V's over the Summer and into the Fall of 2016.
The building under construction is the new Comcast Innovation and Technology Center which at 1,121' will become the tallest building in the United States outside of New York and Chicago when completed in 2018.
