On July 11, 2014, a few people begin gathering inside the station at Jasper, Alberta, for the departure of VIA Rail’s Jasper to Prince Rupert train No. 5, formerly known as the “Skeena.” Later that afternoon, the station will get even busier when VIA’s popular “Canadian” makes its stop in the resort town in Jasper National Park.
