NS Train 33J eases to a stop at De Witt as they wait for NS Decatur Dispatcher to throw the switch a couple times after receiving a failure and a track light at this location.
After receiving permission to hand throw the dual control switch, the conductor got it to lock up and come in for the dispatcher, and a clear signal was given to proceed west on the NS Kansas City District.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
